Smallmouth Bass × crayfish predation
Laboratory predator–prey trials quantifying how Smallmouth Bass select between native Signal Crayfish and non-native Ringed Crayfish. Feeds Chapter 2.
Status: pilot-phase trials underway to finalize the protocol.
Crayfish thermal preference
Thermal-choice trials comparing short-term behavioral response to a warm/cool input between Signal and Ringed Crayfish. Feeds Chapter 3.
Status: pilot trials underway to refine the behavioral assay and analysis workflow.
Native–non-native crayfish competition
Planned interspecific shelter-competition experiment testing how temperature changes dominance and displacement between the two species. Feeds Chapter 3.
Status: design complete; no trials conducted yet.
Umpqua River field sampling
Diet, crayfish availability, and thermal habitat sampling across the Umpqua River basin, pairing Bass Bash stomach collections with standardized crayfish trapping. Feeds Chapter 1.
Status: sample collection ongoing; species-level processing underway.
Saudi fisheries and marine trophic analyses

Reproducible analysis workflows
