What I work on
My dissertation examines how non-native Smallmouth Bass (Micropterus dolomieu), invasive Ringed Crayfish (Faxonius neglectus), and native Signal Crayfish (Pacifastacus leniusculus) interact in the Willamette and Umpqua River systems, and whether one invader can slow another. The work combines field diet analysis, stable isotopes, mesocosm experiments, and spatial stream network modeling.
Currently
- Completing three dissertation chapters; expected graduation March 2027.
- Running temperature-controlled predation trials in a three-compartment mesocosm system.
- Building reproducible analysis pipelines in R and Quarto.
